Baby Food : Recipes

Syndrom anak ke-2...1 terlebih rajin pulak.haha
suka nengok resepi baby food yg menarik2 dari Annabel Karmel


1) Fish with Carrot & Orange
    (Resepi ni cilok dr blog Dr Halina...tp dia pn amik resepi Annabel gk.hehe)

    First things sekali, stim/rebus carrot & kentang sampai lembut. I prefer stim rather than 
    boil. Estimated dlm 20 min gk la.

    Lepas tu letakkn ikan dlm bekas aluminium tu. Any fillet fish. ada yg guna ikan
    merah...tapi saya guna ikan tenggiri.hehe. Pastu perahkn orange dalam tu
 
    Pastu parutkn cheese atas ikan tu
 
    Pastu taburkn butter skit
 
    Pastu bakar la dlm 20min. nak masukkan dalam microwave pn boleh.hehe

    pastu leh la lenyek2kn kentang & carrot yg dh stim tadi..gaul skali ngn ikan
    utk baby yg x mengunyah lg...leh la blend sampai hancur. leh gk kalo nk campur dalam
    bubur baby

    seriously rasa dia sedap..masam + manis + masin sume ada.
    Areef x cukup-cukup makan....Aqil plak tumpang sekaki. Nasib wat lebih.hehehe
 
 
     Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 225g sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced (approx 125g)
  • 1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes [saya pakai tomato cherry to je..buang kulit dia]
  • 200 ml vegetable stock or water [guna air je]
  • 60g Cheddar cheese,grated
  • 100g Organic Baby Shell Pasta Shapes or Alphabet Pasta [ni plak guna pasta Heinz star shapes tu]
Method
Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion for about 4 minutes until softened.
Add the garlic and sauté for 1 more minute.
Stir in the sweet potato and carrots, then stir in the tomatoes and vegetable stock or water.
Bring to the boil, stirring, then cover the pan and simmer for about 30 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.
Once cooked, allow to the sauce cool slightly, then blend the sauce to a puree and stir in the cheese until melted.
Drain the pasta and mix with the sauce.
